We are hiring 3rd Shift Screening Operators

The Screening Operator will set-up, run and inspect printed parts and adjust printing press to maintain quality and quantity of production.  Maintains productions records and will clean printing area and production equipment regularly.

  • Sets up and obtains pre-print approval.
  • Operates printing press; inspects product regularly during press run, making mechanical and/or ink adjustments to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Performs random checks on printed parts against template ensuring proper registration and resolves registration problems.
  • Notifies team leader of recurring equipment malfunction and/or poor quality of raw materials.
  • Records and maintains accurate printed product and reject counts, ensuring output matches work order requirements.
  • Maintains press area cleanliness and properly cleans up equipment used during printing operations.
  • Works with set up assistants and on-line inspectors to communicate any pre-press needs.

 Must haves:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience working with machinery or equipment preferred.
  • Experience operating printing presses or other manufacturing equipment preferred.

 Skills and abilities crucial to success in this role:

  • Ability to learn new computer software.
  • Ability to read and comprehend job orders and blueprints that provide specific details and instructions.
  • Ability to organize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
