We are hiring a Printed Electronics Quality Assurance Technician to join our Printed Electronics team at our headquarters in La Crosse.

We are adding a Quality Assurance Technician to our Printed Electronics team!
The Printed Electronics (PE) Quality Assurance Technician performs detailed inspections of all switch layers at various building stages and alerts team leader of possible quality concerns. This position regularly performs process/product audits to ensure proper process parameters are used and identify potential defective product. The Printed Electronics Quality Assurance Technician assures product quality alignment across all shifts:
- Confirms process settings are correct per work order routing.
- Audits jobs for defects during the building process and alerts the team leader or assistant team leader of potential issues, including possible order shortage.
- Inspects parts for functional defects from previous departments/supplier.
- Reads and understands paperwork needed to complete the requirements of an order.
- Provides training and ongoing support for Mistral tester users and Printed Electronics inspection.
- Trains and mentors other team members identifying defects and quality issues.
- Uses collected data to generate quarterly reports to present and review with Printed Electronics leadership, Research and Development, and Senior Leadership members.
- Develops a standard routing with Printed Electronics technicians/assemblers for effective workflow and communication.
Ideal candidates will bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Knowledge of electrical principles with 2 years of experience required.
- Experience in electrical troubleshooting required.
Skills and abilities crucial to success in this role:
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Computer skills necessary to create formulas and calculations in Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the use of proper grammar, punctuation, spelling, and clarity in the meaning and intent.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, switch maps, diagrams and engineering drawings.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Ability to remain open to others ideas and willingness to try new things.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Ability to work independently without continued support from others.
- Excellent attention to detail.
