We have an opening for a 1st Shift Die Cutter!

The Die Cutter operates steel rule die cutting presses to thermal, emboss and pierce.  This position cuts and /or punches a variety of substrates to required specifications.  Monitors, documents and implements solutions to non-conformities and produces quality parts while maintaining optimum production level.

  • Selects appropriate die, sets-up and operates different types of machinery and presses according to the departmental procedures.
  • Feeds press ensuring accurate registration; checks periodically for quality.
  • Programs plotter equipment for cutting specifications, selects and inserts proper cutting blade for materials being used, and adjusts cutting blades to proper depth.
  • Runs proof to determine proper registration and makes adjustments to equipment as needed.
  • Feeds printed parts into plotter, and removes scrap while job is running.
  • Tracks production run data such as number of sheets, speed, set up and run times.

Ideal Candidates will have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience with small hand tools preferred.
